TRAINING COURSES CONDUCTED BY SLISHA

  • 7 days saving promotion, credit management and entrepreneurship development training was provided to Kathmandu B group no 2 (Bhaisepati) from 17h July to 23rd July 2012 at Bhaisepati. 25 women participated the training where they learnt how to deal with clients, role of successful and good business person, market management, role of different positions in the group such as chairperson, vice-chairperson, secretary, treasure, market management, importance of saving, how to increase saving through pocket chart analysis, how to conduct effective meeting, how to write daily journal and account keeping systems.   • 7 days saving promotion, credit management and entrepreneurship development training was provided to Kathmandu B group no 1 (Kapan) from 25th June to 2nd July 2012 at Kapan Slisha Office. 26 women participated the training where they learnt how to deal with clients, role of successful and good business person, market management, role of different positions in the group such as chairperson, vice-chairperson, secretary, treasure, market management, importance of saving, how to increase saving through pocket chart analysis, how to conduct effective meeting, how to write daily journal and account keeping systems. During the training they also finalized the rules and regulations for their group and developed group song focusing on their goals and strategy.
 
  • 7 days Trainers of the training (TOT) was provided to newly recruited team of WAWCAS, they were Program Manager and Local Program Leaders from 15th May to 22nd May 2012. During the training, the team learnt to do wellbeing ranking, situation analysis, social mapping, SWOT analysis, Pocket chart analysis, participatory self review program, market management, vision, constraints and strategy, visit business center and home, develop indicators; write summery report, monthly report and case studies. The team also learnt various related games and participatory tools to make the class lively.

  •  Positive Deviance in Gender for local facilitators (8 days), 2000 and 2001
  •  Discussion with Family Members Programme – basic (12 days) and refresher (6 days) training courses, 1999, 2000, 2001 and 2002
  •  Early Childhood Development for teachers (15 days), 1999 and 2000
