2 Residential Workshops were conducted this year, 1st for the WAWCAS women from Lamjung and Tanahu and the 2nd for WAWCAS women from Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Rautahat. Total of 51 women (28 in the 1st and 23 in the 2nd) participated in the workshop representing the groups formed in the year 2022/23. They shared their WAWCAS journey. They briefed about functioning of the groups, opportunities they gained and challenges faced.
The primary objective of the workshop was the experience sharing among the women across the groups and districts so that they could learn from one another so that they could ease their lives and businesses.
During the workshop, the women were very much active in reflecting about their lives and businesses. They reflected through song, drama, poem, drama and paintings which for us are the real assets.
